KARIFEST DUCHESS SPEAKS: Build a Culture of Courage and Kindness

“I learned that courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.

Nelson Mandela.

Fear is a biological factor that we all have to deal with daily even if it’s in the simplest form.

Fear manifests in our lives in different ways – from fear of not failing, to fear of rejection, to fear of validation, to fear of love, to fear of finance, to fear of health, to fear of death, to fear of the unknown, because as humans, we all deal with fear in varying degrees.

What is your fear and how are you dealing with it?

It’s not an abomination to have fears, but what you do with your fears, how you handle it, and what comes out of it is what truly matters.

Today, I urge us all to rise above our fears and learn to build a culture of courage and kindness, to overcome all our limiting barriers and fears. Fear kills, Courage saves. Kindness gives hope that nurtures life. Be courageous. Be kind. Be free.
